I wish you every happiness in the new year.

BLACK HORSE: Hermes.
Looks as if it may have been filmed at the superb small 'theatre' Hermes funded and designed at Les Grands Ecuries du Roi...the former stable opposite Versailles (corner)...where such performances are given. Very divine.
I was fascinated, in this film...the brushing with handfuls of hay...a little fetishy (well the whole thing is a lot fetishy in a great way...)...and very traditional?
