His travel reportages took him to
Paris, New York, Egypt, Morocco... 

...the Middle and Far East as well as Central and South America.

He worked for the most important magazines and publications from the middle of the 1950’s to 1990s.

He has definetly achieved iconic status and his work is displayed in great museums and collections.

He is the founding Director of the House of Photography in Hamburg.
