The Entrance to Cape Town Club.............

"The Cape Town Club formed as a result of a merger in 1976 of Cape Town's two oldest clubs, the City Club (founded 1878) and the Civil Service Club (foundedGreat Room, which incorporates the Rhodes bar, lounge and library 1858). The club, originally in Queen Victoria Street, is now accommodated in Leinster Hall (a 19th century manor house & national monument) in the historic Gardens area of the city."
