Still Atlantis.............
Dubai is a mix of the historical and ultra modern - overwhelming in one sense. It is going to be interesting to see if this City is going to survive the future. I call it Sand City - I think it will disappear like a sandcastle taken by the tide (Atlantis?) one day - or should I say quicksand.

Dubai - Fish Market...... I could write about fish - although I think the interest for pearls is more stimulating so - The Arabian Gulf had the largest natural pearl diving area in the world and this provided the families with their primary income before the oil fields took over the areas. Pearl diving were ongoing until the 1950s. The largest pearl collection in the Middle East is stored at the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) headquarters in Dubai.

Dried Up - Fish Stories.......Well, they had the pearl story...
Doors in the Middle East - doors would not easily get warped because of the dry climate. The most ancient doors were in timber, there is said that King Solomon's temple doors were made of carved olive wood and overlaid with pure gold. We find doors made out of cypress, olive wood, elm, cedar, and oak. Brass, Iron, Silver, Intricate carvings and designs makes them beautiful as tables or change the doors in your house and you will receive a fantastic effect in beauty as well as it gives your rooms some character.
