Part I - Travel Cologne - If Not - Hermès....

What cologne do I then use???

...Armani - Privé Bois d'Encens - from the mystic of a carefully mixed cologne with dominant frankincense, oriental wood, peppery-earthy and an undertone of vetiver...

I use for more formal wear in "Clubland" - Sir Winston Churchill's favorite fragrance. Balanced to perfection, sophisticated and warm ... Creed, Tabarome. Notes of - Cuban tobacco leaves, green tea, pepper, ambergris, hints of sandalwood, and patchouli.

Vintage Tabarome only comes in 8.4 oz flacons, if you are lucky enough to still have a bottle around...it has unfortunely discontinued..of course there is a newer version...??? Its unthinkable...

If this is your last bottle - Perhaps, Vintage Tabarome from the Private Collection can be obtained, by special request sent to Mr. Olivier CREED at CREED, 38, Avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie, 75008, Paris.

  1. Good Morning Tavarua-

I have returned from India! The real India, the India I love, is still there. In Jaipur, around the edges, there are some unfortunate modern buildings...and you worry...but the grand and glorious and simple and humble and stunningly beautiful India is still alive.
FRAGRANCE: This is something I care about. I never spend a moment without a favorite fragrance. Yours sound wonderful.
Tuberose...you must now check on all the frangrances of FREDERIC MALLE...and his CARNAL FLOWER which is intense tuberose...and even check on DANS TES BRAS...which is emotionally mysterious and wonderful for men and women. Creed...yes, great, and best ones are for men. I do love Hermes scents as well...currently loving UN JARDIN SUR LE NIL...mango, green, lively.
India...cloves and cinnamon and cinnabar and rosewood and cardamon...all around...and rose petals and lilies andyellow marigolds...bright , bright.
cheers and bon voyage...have loved your recent posts...brilliant.
