(All Photos in this Post by Tavarua)
called crawfish....which, i was craw-ing? tonight....

We know I like Exotic foods (see Post about Exotic Foods) - I do not considered this exotic, but delicious.......

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... "traveling" crawfish heads on my old leather case....

.......boil them the Scandinavian way...
2 lbs. of crawfish (approx. 25 pcs.)
3 quarts of cold fresh water

5 tablespoons salt

1 tablespoon sugar

10 to 20  dill-"crowns" Fresh dill - the buds should be yellow right before they evolve into flowers. No substitutes.

Make sure all of the crawfish are alive.
Boil water, salt, sugar, dill "crowns"
Boil the water for 2 to 3 minutes.

Place the crawfish into the boiling water - let them cook for 6 to
7 minutes after that the water boils up again with the crawfish.
Cool them off in the seasoned water and keep in the refrigerator before serving.

Arrange on a platter and garnish with "crowns" of dill.

...a single crawfish...all that - is left.....

Not anymore.....
