El Cordobes - Nimes - 1963

I have always been a Bullfight Aficionado - these photographs are pure art,  captured in the moment of time and expression.

Lucien Clergue meets Picasso in Arles (France) in 1953 - their friendship lasted a lifetime.  Together at the  bullfights in France they experienced  the Art of Bullfighting.

  1. One of my favorite and most prized books in my Taurine collection is a first edition TOROS MUERTOS by Lucien Clergue. I am glad to know someone who appreciates the art of the bullfight as much as...the art of the bullfight! Cheers.
